The Lighting of the Neighborhood Christmas Tree

Today was the annual lighting of the Christmas tree in my neighborhood. Sarah, Micah, and I got all bundled up and met our friend at the plaza to gather with other families and folks from the area. After a quick announcement from the alderman, they lit up the tree and a children’s choir sang some songs.

Micah bundled up
Micah bundled up. He barely knows how to stay standing with his coat on.

Micah and Eric stick out their tongues into the cold air.

The children’s choir sings at the lighting of the tree.
