Safe and “sound”

Well, we made it here safely. Nick is not too shabby of a driver.

We’re staying at Nick’s aunt’s house, who happens to be a feminist.
Seriously, in the matter of five minutes she probably mentioned like
twenty different things which let us know she hated men. It was
pathetic.

The town we’re staying in is really, really a replica of Center Grove.
It’s really quite scary. There is every store we have on 135, on a very
similar street here. But when I saw a Home Depot with a Quiznos in
front of it and a Wendy’s and a Target across the street from it, I
knew it was more than a coincidence.

Well, tomorrow we’re heading into downtown Chicago. It shall be an adventure. It already has been for the most part.

Thank goodness for Vanilla Coke.

Unfortunately the basement we’re all staying in is like 20 degrees.
