Your Beans are important!
You can have all the right tools and use all the right techniques and still make a bad cup of coffee if your beans are no fresh or ground to an improper size. Do your best to purchase fair-trade, single origin beans from a local roastery. Ask the employees for their recommendation for the freshest beans to use in your Chemex. When it comes to coffee, fresh is best!
